PVRIS Taps Tommy Genesis & Alice Longyu Gao For Empowering “BURN THE WITCH”

In an unlikely yet remarkable crossover collaboration, PVRIS has teamed up with Canadian rapper Tommy Genesis and boundary-pushing DJ/producer/singer/songwriter Alice Longyu Gao to deliver the ultimate female-empowerment anthem, “BURN THE WITCH.” The new single marks a monumental moment for PVRIS leader Lynn Gunn (Gunnulfsen) as it’s the first track from the esteemed project where she receives full and proper credit for production and recording—a milestone she’s passionately pursued and fought toward for over a decade since the group’s inception. Additionally, with three female powerhouses leading the charge on this forward-thinking track, the new release was also entirely written, produced, engineered,… Read more »

The ending of Sum 41 is a weird thought. Anyone who grew up on pop-punk knows the band’s legendary status, and their active presence will be missed, but I’m excited to see what the guys decide to pursue once their final tour wraps up later this year. Zummo has always been involved in a variety of cool projects that I’ve… Read more »
