Fall Out Boy has been rather busy creating magical evening after magical evening for fans attending the So Much For (2our) Dust tour. Last Friday, March 22, while performing at Madison Square Garden in New York City, the group invited not one but two very special guests to the stage: The Academy Is…’s William Beckett and Daisy Grenade.

Following the debut of the Patrick Stump-composed song “Spidey And His Amazing Friends,” the group welcomed Pete Wentz‘s protégés, Daisy Grenade, to join them on stage for a rendition of “Just One Yesterday.” Dani Nigro and Keaton Whittaker‘s vocals intertwined seamlessly with Stump’s thunderous range as he led the performance from behind the piano.

Following the performance, Daisy Grenade shared several posts on Instagram to commemorate the moment. They wrote, “LAST NIGHT WE SANG A FALL OUT BOY SONG WITH PATRICK STUMP AT THE SOLD OUT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN SHOW???? WHAAAATTT DO YOU MEEEEAAAANNNN???”

In a longer post, they shared, “It’s difficult to put into words what going out and singing with Patrick at MSG (!!!) meant to us. The trust that both Pete and Patrick have given us, has literally changed our lives. They are both wonderful friends and mentors, and we know how lucky we are for that. Singing at the Garden, especially as New Yorkers, has been a dream of ours since we could talk, and to get to do it this early in our careers, alongside our heroes, is difficult to even process. We are so grateful to the FOB fans for welcoming us with open arms, and for treating us like family. We hope to only grow from here and continue to make you proud. It is rare to perform with people that make you feel you are the only people in the room, and it’s even rarer to do it in a sold out MSG. How lucky we are. Thank you @falloutboy @patrickstump @petewentz @thegarden.”

Later in the show, Fall Out Boy welcomed their longtime friend William Beckett of The Academy Is… to the stage for a special performance of the 2005 track “Slow Down,” taken from TAI‘s debut album, Almost Here. During an earlier tour stop in Los Angeles, the band invited Gabe Saporta and Vicky T of Cobra Starship to join them on stage for a rendition of “Good Girls Go Bad.” This collaboration followed Saporta’s appearance alongside Beckett and co. at When We Were Young Fest in October 2023.
