Irish-British alternative rock band My Bloody Valentine released its two full-length albums, “Isn’t Anything” and “Loveless,” digitally Tuesday (August 26). The sets previously had been only partially available online. More than two-dozen of Van Morrison’s albums are about to get the reissue treatment. Starting with 1971’s “Tupelo Honey” through 2002’s “Down the Road,” 29 Morrison releases will appear via Polydor/Universal in the coming months, each containing previously unreleased bonus material. “Tupelo Honey,” the 1974 live album “It’s Too Late to Stop Now,” 1978’s “Wavelength,” 1985’s “A Sense of Wonder,” 1989’s “Avalon Sunset” and 1999’s “Back on Top” will kick off the campaign on January 29. Jack White has revealed he he is working on three albums. Los Angeles – Bright Eyes principal Conor Oberst delivered a finished album to his label last February with an eye on a summer release, but then he had other ideas. He went back into the studio and recorded enough songs for a second set. With the release of their sixth studio disc, Hail To The Thief, the band have fulfilled their contract with their record label, and now singer Thom Yorke says they’re looking forward to not having to make another album right away. Chicago rockers Disturbed have upset the Dixie Chicks’ three-week run as chart champs, selling more than 283,000 copies of their second album to debut atop the Billboard 200 albums chart, according to SoundScan figures released Wednesday. The riff-wielding quartet has come a long way in its short career. Disturbed’s 2000 debut, The Sickness, while eventually selling more than 2.6 million copies, took nearly two months to crack the chart after its release.
