A spokesman for Kate Moss denied reports the supermodel and rocker Pete Doherty had tied the knot during a candlelit Buddhist ceremony in Thailand on New Year’s Day. Stuart Higgins said Moss, 32, was vacationing in Thailand, but hadn’t married Doherty, frontman for Babyshambles. “There has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand. She is on holiday,” Higgins said. British newspapers reported that Moss and Doherty had held the ceremony in the Thai resort of Phuket. Toronto, Ontario – Strutting onstage in unison, the five founding members of Duran Duran – on their first major arena tour since reforming in 2001 – looked suspiciously like an aged version of the Backstreet Boys. New York – People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals wants Jennifer Lopez to “Get Right” when it comes to fur. It wasn’t a very good night for openers Killswitch Engage, as they announced right before their set that their singer had “blown his voice” and Unearth’s frontman (who already sang that night) would be filling in. Fortunately, no angry rioting ensued, not even when they cut their set short and promised to bring a better show through town next time.
