Dunes has been sharing new tunes, dropping band documentaries, and now they’ve released a new music video for “Old Wounds.” Created by @iammethisisi, an AI artist, the video shows scenes of fire, astronauts, UFOs, and more. The color palette of the music video is akin to the cover art of The Smashing Pumpkins’ Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Check out the new music video below. Today De’Wayne took to instagram to announce a string of headline shows surrounding his upcoming tour supporting grandson and K.Flay. It comes as no surprise that De’Wayne would be opening for grandson, as they released a super cool collaborative track, “GOOD MOOD” together last year. This song was a successful single from his most recent album My Favorite Blue Jeans, released last October via Hopeless Records. This week I have the man of all trades Dorian Neidhardt, he works for Meinl Cymbals as an A&R person as well as Tama Drums over in Germany! He also is a drum tech, tour manager, and play drums for River Becomes Ocean(I had his singer Marvin on the show before). He was my tour manager for bands Icon For Hire & IDKHOW in Europe, and we’ve been great friends ever since. I learn about how he got started to how he ended up where he is today, we also share stories from the road together.
This week I have Jacob Spreng, he’s made merch designs for our band, you’ve might have even seen him sell IDKHOW merch behind the table at our shows, or him just hanging out with us, he also makes music as well. I got to interview Cameron from Twin XL, I took him on his very first tour back in 2010 that he ever did, and we’ve been friends ever since. His new band Twin XL is fantastic and we got to take them on tour with IDKHOW before Covid. He’s also a great song writer, and even a better friend.
