‘N Sync will tour North American arenas in the coming months in support of its 2001 Jive album, “Celebrity.” A full itinerary has not yet been unveiled, but dates are so far confirmed for five shows, beginning March 3 at the Rose Garden in Portland, Ore. Orange County, California rockers Lit are nearing completion on their third full-length album, due out October 9th. Working in North Hollywood’s NRG Studios with producer Don Gilmore, who handled the band’s 1999 sophomore breakthrough A Place in the Sun as well as recent efforts from Sugar Ray and Eve 6, the group has tracked fifteen tunes and is presently knee-deep in mixing. Barenaked Ladies have confirmed more than month’s worth of North American tour dates in support of their recent “Maroon” album (Reprise). The tour begins July 12 in Toronto and is currently scheduled through Aug. 26, with more dates expected to be added. The Backstreet Boys have announced the dates and cities for the summer portion of their North American arena tour, which comes in support of the chart-topping smash “Black & Blue” album (Jive).
