During the Kickoff Party in Los Angeles last night, eight more bands were announced to play on the Vans Warped Tour lineup this summer.
Punk rock, skateboards and… comedians? This week’s edition of the Vans Warped Tour lineup announcement adds a whole new element to the yearly tour—a comedy tent. Among the names joining the festival are Dave Ross, Sammy Obeid, and Eli Olsberg.

After splitting in 2004 with a muddy sendoff at its Coventry, Vermont, festival, Phish will re-school in the spring for a three-night run at one of its favorite venues, the Hampton (Virginia) Coliseum. The John Bassett Theatre in Toronto’s Metro Convention Centre has become best known as the home of Canadian Idol, but the concert hall will be filled with many of the people who inspire the Idol hopefuls next month.
