Just two weeks after Kanye West and Lady Gaga announced their full slate of “Fame Kills” dates, the tour has been canceled. No official reason has been given for the cancellation, but ticket refunds will be available. After the backlash surrounding Kanye’s outburst during Taylor Swift’s VMAs acceptance speech, the tour was rumored to be embattled. Now official confirmation of the cancellation comes from concert promoters Live Nation. But Gaga isn’t letting this slow down her collaborations with rappers. Lady GaGa tops charts with third straight number one


Lady GaGa becomes just the third artist in the 16-year history of the Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart to collect three No. 1 songs from a debut album. “LoveGame” (Interscope) rises 2-1, marking Lady GaGa’s third No. 1, following “Just Dance” (two weeks) and “Poker Face” (five weeks). The three songs appear on her top five Billboard 200 album, The Fame. The set has sold 1,162,000 copies to date, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
