Thursday Ten: A Not-So-Traditional Christmas


When you’re trapped in the hellish nightmare of a busy mall in December, it’s not unusual for the tinny sound of Christmas music to make you wish you would get trampled to death by a thousand frantic shoppers just to put an end to your suffering. Thankfully, hearing your favorite bands cover the same songs has the opposite effect.

Sparks The Rescue lose three members, band will continue on


In unfortunate news, Mike Naran, David Pait, and Dylan Taylor will be leaving Sparks The Rescue. The band will continue on with founding members Alex Roy and Toby McAllister, with plans to tour and record new music in the new year.

New Found Glory Cover Faves with Help from Friends


LOS ANGELES, CA –NEW FOUND GLORY will cover classics hits such as “Kiss Me,” “Iris” and “Don’t You Forget About Me” on their upcoming release, From The Screen To Your Stereo 2 out on September 18th. Hellogoodbye Announce Spring Tour; Go Gold with Single


LOS ANGELES CA–The traveling band of merriment known as HELLOGOODBYE will embark on a headlining tour this spring. Kicking off April 4th, the two month tour will encompass the US and Canada, and even jump the pond for the Give It A Name Festival in the UK. Skate And Surf Fest: Down-Home Warped Rocks Asbury Park


Twelve hours, four stages and more than 40 bands marked the end of the three-day Skate and Surf Festival on Sunday. Held at the Asbury Park Convention Hall, the second installment of the now annual event featured performances from Bouncing Souls, Face to Face and the Descendents, among many others. Dakona, Newly Signed Maverick Band, Set To Headline Teen Suicide Prevention Benefit Concert


Recently-signed band Dakona, currently hard at work on their debut album for Maverick Recording Company, will take a break from recording to headline a benefit concert to help teen suicide prevention. The event takes place May 26th at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, NY, just outside of New York City. Proceeds from the concert will go to the Mental Health Association of Westchester, NY, Teen Suicide Prevention Program.
