No Doubt drummer Adrian Young became a father Saturday (February 9) when his wife gave birth to Mason James Young in a Southern California hospital. The visibly elated father arrived to perform with his band at the Love Rocks event honoring U2’s Bono in Hollywood on Thursday (February 14.) Fans might notice something missing from No Doubt’s upcoming televised performances – drummer Adrian Young’s usual bare-assed self won’t be behind the kit. Instead he’ll be at home with wife Nina anticipating the birth of the couple’s first child, according to an Interscope Records spokesperson. No Doubt are taking their Rock Steady to the streets, beginning in mid-March. The ska-turned-reggae rock quartet will launch its first proper tour in support of its latest album, Rock Steady, with two offshore dates in Puerto Rico and Venezuela, on March 14 and 16, respectively, according to an Interscope Records spokesperson. The album entered in at Number Nine with sales of more than 254,000 copies in its first week, according to sources.
