Goo Goo Dolls have begun confirming dates for a North American tour in support of their latest Warner Bros. album, “Gutterflower,” released this week. The first six dates begin May 23 in Houston and will be preceded by a May 3 show at the Astoria in London. Columbia Records Taps New West Coast Manager


Columbia Records Group has named A&R veteran Tim Devine to head up its Santa Monica-based operations as West Coast general manager. Devine, who reports to Columbia chairman Don Ienner and president Will Botwin, also will hang on to his post as senior vice president of A&R at the Sony Music label – a position he has held since signing on at Columbia in 1996. Epitaph Acts Crowd 'Punk-O-Rama'


The seventh edition of Epitaph Records’ “Punk-O-Rama” compilation series will be released June 25 and feature 19 tracks from the likes of Rancid, Bad Religion, NOFX, Pennywise, the Hives, and Bouncing Souls. Following the series’ modus operandi, “Punk-O-Rama Vol. 7” will be specially priced at $5.98.
