This past weekend, Billie Eilish channeled her inner Holiday Barbie during her most recent Saturday Night Live performance. Weird Barbie herself, Kate McKinnon, introduced the performance along with Barbie film director, Greta Gerwig, to present Eilish’s song, “What Was I Made For?” She wrapped the evening with a soulful rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.” The holiday classic captures a jazzy feel with light rata tapping drums and pizzicato playing of the cello. Fall Out Boy fans everywhere are celebrating all across the world on social media and as the So Much (For) Stardust band finally added their “Pavolve (Demo)” to Spotify. The song appeared on the 2008 Folie à Deux deluxe CD, but has remained a fan-favorite since its release. After a Twitter/X account dedicated to getting the band to add the song to Spotify demanded it for 739 days straight, the band finally answered the call. The 2000s-inspired, singer-songwriter alt-ballad is the latest track to preview her upcoming album can we start over?, which arrives on January 24. Today, the Stump-produced original motion picture soundtrack for Merry Little Batman is officially out in the world. This soundtrack is preceded by his work on Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Black Friday (2021), Spell (2019), and beyond. As Fall Out Boy are gearing up to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of their fourth studio album, Folie à Deux, the group has shared an extra special treat for fans to commemorate the December 10, 2008 release. Across their social media accounts, the band shares, “Introducing Folie à Bleu, the 15th anniversary vinyl edition. The label changed the color of the album cover to blue without asking us & we didn’t want it all to go to waste.
