The Spice Girls are considering an offer of approximately $2 million each to play a reunion show this Christmas, according to reports. Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell, and Victoria Beckham apparently met to discuss the plan in London last Wednesday evening. The quartet were reunited at the 32nd birthday party of David Beckham, which took place at the Cipriani restaurant. The All-American Rejects will be honored with ASCAP’s Vanguard Award at the 24th Annual ASCAP Pop Music Awards, which will also salute the songwriters and publishers of ASCAP’s most performed pop songs of 2006. The invitation-only event will be held on April 18, 2007 at The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. Hilary Duff might be taking classes at Harvard, but that doesn’t mean her fellow students have to like it. In an editorial published last week in The Crimson, Harvard’s school newspaper, the staff lambastes Duff, calling her a “loser and a chicken” because she didn’t go through Harvard’s notoriously difficult undergraduate-admissions process and won’t be participating in campus activities. Duff is not a student at Harvard proper, but is auditing courses through the Harvard Extension School, a continuing-education program that allows the singer to take a few classes online, including environmental science, government, and sociology. Cleveland – Rhythm & blues recording artist Gerald Levert will not face assault charges for his confrontation with police here on Friday. Prosecutor Anthony Jordan said that there was no evidence the singer caused serious physical harm to patrolmen Ronald W. Ross and Daniel Lentz. Levert, 38, was charged with drunken driving, impeding traffic, obstructing police business and resisting arrest.
