Britney Spears will release her 3rd album, Britney on November 6 worldwide. The first single, “I’m A Slave 4 U,” will impact CHR and Rhythm Crossover radio on September 24. The song was written and produced by The Neptunes. The video, directed by Frances Lawrence, will debut on MTV’s Making The Video on September 24. Britney Spears co-wrote 5 of the 12 songs on the album. Other producers/writers on Britney include Max Martin, Justin Timberlake, Wade Robson, Rami and Rodney Jerkins. Spears To Donate Proceeds To World Trade Center Victims From Ticket Sales Of Her Upcoming Tour


Britney Spears has announced that she will donate $1.00 per ticket sold from each of the 31 concerts she will play on her North American Tour this Fall to the children of the NYC Policeman & Firefighters lost in the World Trade Center attack. Britney Spears has titled her upcoming third album Britney. The album is due out November 6th with the first single, “I’m a Slave 4 U,” ready for radio at the end of the September. A preview of the single is available on Spears’ official site, www.britney.com. Britney Spears will grab another page from the Madonna playbook this fall with a “really, really theatrical” tour that will chart her journey toward full-blown, snake-toting adulthood, according to tour director and choreographer Wade Robson. Hoping to raise awareness about the AIDS epidemic claiming 5,000 African lives each day, artists including Bono, Wyclef Jean, Britney Spears, ‘N Sync, Fred Durst, Missy Elliott, Gwen Stefani and Mary J. ‘NSYNC, Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, Alicia Keys and Ja Rule are among the artists who are lending their voices this week to an all-star remake of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” to benefit AIDS research. Recording a song with boyfriend Justin Timberlake as a co-producer made Britney Spears “a little nervous,” she says. The song, “What It’s Like to Be Me,” was recorded during sessions for Spears’ third album, due November 6. Spears, Lopez Join MTV Kudos


MTV has signed up thrushes Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez to perform at the 18th annual Video Music Awards, scheduled for Sept. 6 in Gotham.
