Trapt Is Not About the Image

The members of the band Trapt say they aren’t about image. Only one tiny picture of the band is on their recent CD “Trapt,” and it’s still difficult to tell them apart. Bass player Pete Charell and singer Chris Brown said they wanted to add a little mystery to their major-label debut, and they want listeners to focus on the music. “We pretty much don’t even look like we’re in a band,” Charell said in an interview with The Associated Press. “We don’t wear leather pants and studs all over the place. All-American Rejects Give Up The Girl For 'Last Song,' Eat Cereal In Sand Trap

Even the most heartbroken among us would benefit from distancing themselves from the pain every once in a while. For Tyson Ritter, a reprieve from his songwriting muse helped make “The Last Song” such a pleasure to pen. “I got inspired to write something that wasn’t about an all-girl topic,” the All-American Rejects singer/bassist said. “Every other song [on the band’s self-titled debut] is about one girl, so to put a song on the album that wasn’t about her, that made it a little extra special.” The second single off The All-American Rejects is one of Ritter’s favorite tracks, inspirational… Read more »

Trapt Gets 'Headstrong'

“Headstrong,” Trapt’s first single from its self-titled debut, continues to move up the Alternative and Active Rock Radio & Records chart. The song moves up one spot to Number Four on the Alternative chart, and the song reached Number Two last week on the Active Rock chart. Guitarist Simon Ormandy said the song started off to be a proverbial “middle finger” to the law, but it evolved into a tune about the band sticking to its guns in the music industry. “We were a little younger,” Ormandy said. “Myself as well as [vocalist/guitarist] Chris [Brown] were having some troubles with… Read more »

Mouth Culture has officially delivered their brand-new single, “Everyday”, as well as the announcement of their forthcoming EP.
