Coheed and Cambria came, sold out the Central Park SummerStage and rocked so hard a man projectile vomited Wednesday. Though fans were nearly melting, their intensity never skipped a beat.
The unclassifiable rock band Coheed and Cambria has signed with Columbia Records, who, in conjunction with Equal Vision Records, will re-issue the group’s watershed album, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3, on Tuesday, June 29. One of the biggest indie band breakout stories of the year, Coheed and Cambria, already legendary for delivering incandescent live performances, will be among the headliners on this year’s Vans Warped Tour. After drawing record-breaking crowds and hosting the largest rock event in Ohio history in 2025, Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival is coming back with an even louder roar in 2026. The festival is slated to return to the Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, from Thursday through Sunday, May 14-17, and will feature over 140 artists performing across five stages. Cobra Starship took to the When We Were Young 2024 Purple Stage at 3:30 PM to play their beloved LP ¡Viva la Cobra! in its entirety. The 2007 Patrick Stump-produced record includes hits such as “Guilty Pleasure” and “Kiss My Sass.” During their set, the band decked out the stage to look like the inside of an airplane, dressed as pilots and stewardesses before throwing on their iconic purple hoodies. Coheed & Cambria are celebrating their 20 year anniversary in style with the release of their 10th LP Vaxis – Act II: A Window of the Making Mind. The Nyack, New York prog rockers made their way to Queens on Saturday, July 30th for a semi home-town show at the Forest Hills Tennis Stadium.
