There are tons of amazing bands playing this year who you don’t need to be told to check out, but to make sure you also find some of the lesser-known gems on the lineup, here are ten up-and-coming artists we think your SBSW experience wouldn’t be complete without in this week’s Tuesday Ten.
South By So What!? is back in 2014 for its biggest and best year yet. The festival will take place at Quiktrip Park in Grand Prairie, TX on March 14-16th. The festival features a wide variety of alternative, pop-punk, metal, and hardcore bands including Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Bring Me The Horizon, Of Mice & Men, The Devil Wears Prada, The Story So Far and Comeback Kid.
Sleep Theory has released a music video for the heavily moody track “Gone Or Staying” via Epitaph. The story behind the video displays a toxic relationship that should go up in flames but is ignited by not wanting to let go. Partnered with a nervous yet remorseful vibe that ramps up toward the end of the track, the band creates a montage of a relatable scenario. Following the release of their latest full-length album, Losing What We Love, in October, Knuckle Puck has announced a string of tour dates in the UK alongside Shoreline. The Chicago natives will head overseas for four tour dates ahead of supporting Neck Deep in London, UK, at Alexandra Palace. The band was also announced today for a performance at So What?!
