More than 10 years after the iconic Bamboozle festival packed away their gear for the last time in 2012, we now have day-to-day lineup details for their 2023 event (cue our uncontrollable excitement)! In January, Bamboozle announced their lineup via an old-school, faux Myspace page. Rather than leaning into the nostalgic emo era Myspace was famous for, the lineup includes a plethora of genres and performances. Rancid and Pennywise are co-headlining a 10-date tour in September. Supporting bands Suicidal Tendencies, The English Beat, The Aquabats, Turnstile, Iron Reagan (I love that name so much), and Angel Du$t will change depending on the city. The tour isn’t an out of the blue attempt, Rancid and Pennywise have been keeping busy in and out of the studio, consistently playing shows in support of their most recent records. One of music’s most unmistakably charismatic frontmen, the band has been tearing up stages across the country all year on Warped Tour and alongside bands like Every Time I Die and Bring Me The Horizon. idobi writers Alex Rudisill and Alexa Gallo spent some time with Jason at their appearance at South By So What?! to discuss the current state of music as well as his personal musical background.
Diamond Youth have launched a pre-order for their upcoming Shake EP out February 4th via Topshelf Records. The EP was recorded with Brian McTernan(Senses Fail, The Movielife) at Salad Days studio in Maryland. The band have also posted a video for the track “Can’t Shake The Feeling”, which can be viewed below.
