Wait… Lance Bass Might Still Be Going To Space

Just when you thought you’d heard the last of it, it looks like Lance Bass’ space mission might happen after all. A source close to the project told MTV News that Bass will resume training at the Star City facility near Moscow on Wednesday, thanks to a nearly finalized sponsorship deal with Pepsi. To make up for the 10 training days Bass lost since being pulled off his regimen earlier this month he’s going to have to work 16-hour days and weekends. And if that’s not enough to keep him in the running for the October flight, his plan B… Read more »

Justin Timberlake Fan Killed In Alleged Hit-And-Run Outside Radio Station

A 21-year-old Justin Timberlake fan hoping to catch a glimpse of the ‘NSYNC singer outside a Burbank, California, radio station Monday night was killed in an alleged hit-and-run. The woman, Burbank resident Anne White, was struck by a truck driven by Cameron Duty, 23, who purportedly had an argument with someone in the crowd before deliberately backing onto the sidewalk where dozens of fans were gathered. “[White] had apparently been on the sidewalk when the truck, traveling in reverse at a high rate of speed, struck her and pinned her under the vehicle,” Burbank Lt. Tim Stehr said in a… Read more »

Justin Timberlake To Play VMAs, Says Solo Debut Is 'Very Me'

When Justin Timberlake’s solo debut, Justified, drops November 12, it may bring an end to the days when he harmonized with his ‘NSYNC brethren on songs written by Swedish songwriting teams. Although Timberlake isn’t permanently parting company with JC, Lance, Chris and Joey, his first crack at going it alone was nevertheless liberating. Free from his ties to Max Martin, Kristian Lundin and the like, whose songs dominated much of ‘NSYNC’s 1998 eponymous debut and 2000’s No Strings Attached, Timberlake co-wrote all of Justified, including the LP’s first single, “Like I Love You,” a track co-written and produced by the… Read more »

Britney Says Lightning Storm Forced Her To End Mexico Show

Take ambassador off the list of careers Britney Spears might want to pursue if she ever tires of singing. It’s customary for American artists playing to international audiences – who don’t get to see certain performers as often – to go out of their way to charm fans, either by adopting local protocol, attempting the language or… Read more »
