Sea Of Green: Stoner Meets Backstreet Boy

Recently returning from a private showcase in Los Angeles prior to the release of their third full-length effort Chemical Vacation (The Music Cartel), stoner/riff rockers Sea Of Green let bassist Eric Kuthe spill some of the beans on what’s going down with this Toronto-based power trio. I suppose one of the biggest changes with Chemical Vacation is that you’ve introduced new drummer Matt Dowd into the fold. How has that altered the Sea Of Green sound? Eric Kuthe: It’s had a big impact to be honest. Our old drummer was like Ginger Baker with big rolls and shit like that,… Read more »

Britney Spears said in a candid interview with the U.K. tabloid the Sun that none of the songs that will be on her upcoming album will have anything to do with her ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake or their break-up. Timberlake’s music video for his hit single “Cry Me A River” showed him breaking up with a girl who looked so much like Spears that even she was shocked when she first saw the clip. “I was shocked to sh-t,” Spears told the Sun. “First time I saw it I thought, ‘Oh, my God, it’s me.’ It was a little weird but… Read more »

Sorry, girls… Joey Fatone is officially off the market. The ‘NSYNC member announced Tuesday night that after 10 years of dating – and having a child together – he has asked his girlfriend to marry him. Fatone told CBS’ “Late Late Show” host Craig Kilborn that he popped the question to longtime girlfriend Kelly Baldwin on June 18 in Orlando, Florida. “It was exciting, it was fun,” Fatone said. It's Justin Timberlake Gone Wild At Late-Night Club Show – Review

A good bar band singer knows the importance of conversing with the patrons. “Did you come to have fun?” Justin Timberlake asked after taking the House of Blues stage early Tuesday morning (June 17) for his first crack at what he’s dubbed the Show After the Show. “The point of this is to have fun.” And fun it was, yet it certainly seemed there were other reasons for JT – as he was billed – to play a club show a few hours after the lights went up on the Justified and Stripped Tour at the Staples Center. Mainly, the… Read more »

Joey Fatone Going After Creed On Comedy Album

Scott Stapp and humor hardly go hand in hand, but Joey Fatone is doing his best to change that. The ‘NSYNC singer is parodying Creed’s “Higher” on his upcoming comedy album. “I want to do ‘Can You Change My Tire?’ ” Fatone said Monday. “Just silly stuff, something stupid like that.” Creed are Fatone’s first victims outside of his own ‘NSYNC circle. He’s working on JC Chasez’s “Blowin’ Me Up (With Her Love)” and has already tackled Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River.” “I’m doing ‘Buy Me a Liver,’ about drinking too much alcohol,” he said. The as-yet-untitled album, which… Read more »

With ice on both ears, Justin Timberlake set out to prove that on his own he can accomplish the mission that was set for ‘NSYNC – to generate a little respect for pop. The fans, most of whom were women in their late teens and early 20s, screamed at Justin and Christina’s every move and word. Justified And Stripped Preview: Timberlake Talks Tour

Hoards of teenage girls are racing to Phoenix’s America West Arena for Wednesday’s Justified and Stripped Tour kickoff, but if Justin Timberlake’s recent European outing is any indication, they are not the only ones. Just before taking a London stage two weeks ago, the ‘NSYNC star estimated the average concertgoer on the trek was 26 or 27, and he said he’d seen as many adult couples in his audience as mothers and daughters. “I was pleasantly surprised,” Timberlake said. “It’s nice to have so many different cultures and so many different ages and generations in one room.” Timberlake’s portion of… Read more »
