Reuters reports that the publisher of a German website offering a ticket to a sold-out Madonna concert in exchange for sex was inundated by responses from around the world.
According to Bernd Heusinger, publisher of Therma1, 120 readers sent in offers to bed members of his staff in return for a ticket to the concert taking place in Berlin later this week.
The contest was ‘won’ by columnist Shelley Masters, one of the five men and two women on the site’s staff who had volunteered to participate in the sweepstakes. Reuters reports that a total of 90 men had sent applications to have sex with her. Another 11 men sent offers to have sex with a gay staff member, while 19 women applied for sex with one of three men on the staff.
Masters, who won by popular demand, said she was looking forward to the winner and insisted there was nothing immoral about it. “I’m excited about all the well-qualified men out there,'” she said. “Ninety men from around the world want to spend the night with me: That’s something women around the world dream of.”
The Madonna concerts in Berlin were sold out within minutes of going on sale in April and went for a record German price of up to $110 each.
