Woodland Hills, Calif.-based WebRadio.com, a partly-owned subsidiary of Emblaze Systems today announced it will stop its Internet streaming services on August 31, 2001. The move, expected by many observers for a considerable period of time, is intended to allow the company to concentrate its focus on the emerging wireless multimedia market. Emblaze Systems has decided to reallocate most of WebRadio’s resources to better serve its wireless business model.
WebRadio.com will maintain a staff and will continue to provide streaming services in order to allow each station to make arrangements to obtain streaming capabilities with other industry affiliates.
