It’s a good day to stand up for what you believe in, and the Vans Warped Tour is a great example of that. When the Westboro Baptist Church, an organization that’s well known for spreading hate, made plans to protest the tour, Warped made their own plans.
During the Kansas City show, Warped crew and bands took to a protest of their own. With shirts that made their point for them (“Fuck The Westboro Baptist Church”), they stood proudly in front of signs shaming so-called “sinners”.
