If you streamed Twenty One Pilots‘ Clancy all summer long and need a new pick-me-up, the Columbus duo just dropped a new track. Tyler Joseph and Josh Dun added their own sonics to the official soundtrack for Arcane season 2 with “The Line.“
Officially out on Netflix, the League Of Legends series dropped its full soundtrack on November 23 featuring more than 20 dazzling alternative artists and their original songs. Previously, they released singles “Heavy Is The Crown” by Linkin Park and “Paint The Town Blue” by Ashnikko. The full soundtrack includes the likes of FEVER 333, Royal & the Serpent, and King Princess.
TOP’s frontman Joseph says, “As a fan, when invited to be a part of Arcane, I was inspired to contribute in some way. So many aspects of this story connect with me on a creative level, and when the scene was shared, I immediately knew the lyrical concept and direction I wanted to take. Josh [Dun] and I are thrilled to present this song on stage for the first time during the 2024 Game Awards.”
You can catch the 2024 Game Awards on Thursday, December 12 at 7:30 PM ET on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, Instagram, and Steam.
