Get ready for a Chemical Romance…yup, this lucky couple got the wedding of their emo dreams with a The Umbrella Academy themed day. If you thought you loved the new Netflix adaptation or the comic, y’all ain’t seen nothing yet. Last Friday Netflix helped two TUA super-fans begin their lives together with a wedding under a 60ft black umbrella—yup, that’s really a thing—in the middle of Bryant Park.
The happy couple, Kat and Ducky, then joined their friends and family for a [black] parade through Times Square, with a very special performance from Klaus himself aka the delightful Robert Sheehan. And of course, they couldn’t end the night without heading to Griddy’s Doughnut Shop to make their union even sweeter.
