The trailer for Frozen II was released Tuesday, June 11th and it looks magical. Directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck return along with the epic songwriting duo responsible for “Let it Go”, Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. The storyline follows Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel) as they head north at the behest of a troll who warns “Elsa, the past is not what it seems. You must find the truth. Go North, across the enchanted lands and into the unknown. But be careful. We have always feared Elsa’s powers were too much for this world. Now, we must hope they are enough.” Fan favorite Olaf, voiced by the endlessly talented Josh Gad, is back in the sequel along with his pals Kristoff and Sven. Joining the cast are Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown but their roles are still a secret. With Frozen being the highest grossing animated film of all time we can only expect that Frozen II will be a major hit. Even if it’s not, every parent, aunt, uncle, babysitter, teacher – everyone, all the people who love the kids in their lives – will at least be grateful for a new soundtrack to play on repeat. Frozen II lands in theaters November 22.
