Sweet Pill just revealed their Unraveled EP, a music project that allowed the band to reimagine their grittiest, most intense punk tracks in a softer, acoustic light.
Lead vocalist Zayna Youssef shares, “To wrap up this era of Sweet Pill and before we start the next one, we decided to share and reimagine these songs one last time. Through these last two years, we’ve been constantly performing these songs from ‘Where The Heart Is’ LP and ‘Starchild’ EP and they have continually morphed and changed.”
Youssef continues, “In the ‘Unraveled’ EP, we show the true vulnerability these songs have. For me personally, I go out of my comfort zone and I don’t rely too much on belting. I don’t do that often and I tend to not be so confident with my falsetto and softer bits. But we all pushed ourselves and created something you may not expect from Sweet Pill. I learned so much from this and my ability. I can’t wait to apply it to LP 2 and show the world just how versatile Sweet Pill can be.”
