It’s a bittersweet moment, but one we’ve known was coming. Sum 41 played their final show on March 30, but today, they offered fans one more parting gift. The pop-punk veterans dropped a “Radio Silence” music video. It contains moments of the band’s history and many adventures, flashing back to their days as scrappy, young newbies.

Sum 41 noted on social media, “As the Sum quietly set Sunday night, we wanted to leave you with something special to show our appreciation for all of the love that you have shown us over the years.”

On March 30, Sum 41 played their final show at the 2025 Juno Awards, where they were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Here, they played a medley of their biggest hits from across their discography, including “Landmines,” “Fat Lip,” “Still Waiting,” and, of course, “In Too Deep.”

Before taking the Juno Awards stage, Deryck Whibley took to Instagram to share: “Today, we take the stage for the last time as Sum 41. It’s a surreal moment in so many ways. There are so many feelings, thoughts, and emotions running through me right now.”

He continued, “So much of what has happened in my life and the journey of the band is exactly what I had hoped for—what I predicted as a young teenager plotting to take on the world. I’ve often wondered how or why I saw so many things in my mind and then watched them unfold in real life. Could it have been a premonition or just the naïveté of youth? Was it manifestation? I’ll never really know.”

Finally, he concluded, “But some things are simply unimaginable. I’ll admit, I did NOT see this coming. Being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame was never something I envisioned down the road. We are forever grateful and thankful for this incredible honor.”
