Marking their first new music of 2025, State Champs have dropped their latest single, “Common Sense,” quite possibly their catchiest track since “Secrets” in over a decade.
“Common Sense brings out a slightly darker and heavier side to us while keeping the Champ’s integrity strong,” the band shares. “Lyrically, it’s about completely investing yourself in someone while also being naive to the fact that you never had anything in common to begin with.”
Listen to “Common Sense” below.
Kicking off this week, State Champs will be hitting the road to support A Day To Remember and Yellowcard on their massive co-headlining tour stretching into the end of September. The group will also appear at Four Chord Music Fest, Aftershock, and the closing Warped Tour weekend later this year before setting sail on the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise at the start of 2026.
