Shaquille O’Neal has enlisted some rock & roll muscle for his fourth album, Shaquille O’Neal Presents His Superfriends, Volume 1, including Korn bassist Fieldy and 311’s Nick Hexum and Chad Sexton. The new guests join a lineup that already includes Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Ludacris, Common, Mos Def and Talib Kweli, George Clinton, Angie Stone and numerous others.
Shaq’s new guests back him on the track “Psycho,” which features Shaq’s deranged, Eminem-like raps about superstardom. According to the hoopster/rapper, when he takes his new material out on the road he’ll offer concert goers a chance to take part in a Take Down Shaq contest, with prize money for anyone who can immobilize the behemoth.
Shaquille O’Neal Presents His Superfriends, Volume 1 is due on September 11th.
