Ozzy Osbourne joined horror rocker Rob Zombie in a Los Angeles studio last week to work on “Iron Head,” a song to be included on Zombie’s upcoming album.
Zombie’s sophomore solo release has been pushed back to October 30th, fittingly right before Halloween. In addition to Osbourne, the album will include guest appearances by Slayer guitarist Kerry King, former Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee, Limp Bizkit ‘s DJ Lethal and Beastie Boys compatriot Mix Master Mike. Zombie also recently recorded with a thirty-piece orchestra at Jim Henson Studios for another track to be included on the new album.
As for Osbourne, his post-Ozzfest tour with Black Sabbath was scotched so that he could resume work on his next solo album, which is due October 16th.
