The report comes from Reuters, which shares, “Former One Direction singer Liam Payne died outside a hotel in the Argentine capital Buenos Aires, local newspaper La Nacion reported on Wednesday. The 31-year-old British musician was found dead after falling from the hotel’s third floor, it said, citing emergency services.”
Born on August 29, 1993, in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, Liam Payne gained international fame as one-fifth of One Direction after the group’s formation on the reality show The X Factor in 2010 under the guidance of Simon Cowell. Alongside his bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik, Payne became one of the most recognizable pop stars sparking the dedicated 1D fandom and contributing to chart-topping hits like “What Makes You Beautiful,” “Story of My Life,” and “Drag Me Down.”
