Following the release of singles, “Piranha,” “Monsters,” and “Soprano,” Nova Twins just dropped their new track and music video for “N.O.V.A.” The singles will appear on their forthcoming Parasites & Butterflies. The 12-track collection is slated to drop on August 29, 2025 via Marshall Records.

The new track is an entire party condensed into a few minutes, and we are so glad we got the invite. Nova Twins say, “This song is dedicated to all our fierce alt warriors who dare to be different, and unapologetically themselves! Keep shining.”

They add, “This is a celebration of identity, a tribute to the women in our family, and a refusal to apologise for who we are. As two Black women in rock music, we initially felt we had to prove ourselves, due to a lack of representation. Sticking to our guns and overcoming self-doubt has brought us pride. This song honours the peers who paved the way and the progress we’ve made.”

Of their forthcoming album, the duo says, “‘Parasites & Butterflies’ is about the bridge between chaos and beauty, embracing and accepting both sides. ‘Supernova’ was about being superhuman in a time when we needed to be. With ‘Parasites & Butterflies’, we wanted to showcase something deeply human: how vulnerability can be as empowering as it is revealing in its honesty. By playing with opposites, light and shade, you can feel a contrast throughout the album. You’ll find songs that make you want to dance, cry, self-reflect, or even escape. Life is a constant balancing act, but the thrill of the unknown is what makes us feel truly alive.”

Nova Twins are hitting the festival circuit this summer, including a stop at Warped Tour Long Beach ahead of a massive tour through the UK and Europe. Check out their full touring schedule below and buy tickets here.
