On February 25, Billboard dropped their latest Behind The Setlist podcast episode with the iconic Nick Wheeler of The All-American Rejects. In it, he confirmed that 2025 is the year of new music creation for the band and also shared how their 2022 When We Were Young Festival set helped them rediscover their fanbase.
He said of the set, “On stage, we had so much fun with each other. The crowd actually gave a shit.” Then, with good energy all around, they went to work on creating their 2023 Wet Hot All-American Summer Tour.
Wheeler noted, “It ended up being the most successful tour of our entire career. Never would have guessed. Certainly did not expect it.”
