Woe, is Me — “Here’s To Me (A Story To Tell Pt.2)”

Woe, Is Me is back with one hell of a banger on “Here’s To Me (A Story To Tell Pt.2),” the first single off their upcoming third album that will arrive on SBG Records later this year. The perfect balance of heavy and melodic, with vocalists Michael Bohn and Hance Alligood at the top of their game, this track will have bands hyped up for the band’s first new record in over a decade. Spacey Jane — “Through My Teeth”

Following the release of singles “How To Kill Houseplants” and “All The Noise,” Australia’s Spacey Jane just launched their third single, “Through My Teeth,” from their upcoming album If That Makes Sense, due out May 9. The indie-rockers dropped the nostalgia-inducing tune, which features an undeniable warmth, and is noted as one of the band’s favorites of the whole LP. Even though we haven’t listened to the full record yet, this is already a top contender for our AOTY. —Maria Serra

Mouth Culture — “Ratbag”

Practically inescapable while scrolling on TikTok, Mouth Culture has unleashed their latest earworm, “Ratbag.” The track bursts with raw power, coiled tightly around a gritty vocal performance from frontman Jack Voss. His drawl unravels into a snarling, cathartic confession that feels both unhinged and strangely intimate. Produced by You Me At Six’s Max Helyer, the influence is unmistakable—especially in the lead-up to the chorus, where punchy guitar lines explode into a hook that begs for a sing-along. —Paige Owens

Hot Milk — “Swallow This”

Following the release of “90 Seconds To Midnight,” Hot Milk has unveiled the second single from their forthcoming sophomore album, “Swallow This.” Both tracks will appear on the record Corporation P.O.P., slated to drop on June 27 via Music For Nations. Described by frontwoman Han Mee as a “protest song against the hypodermic needle of control media,” the track seethes with fury and defiance. Han and guitarist/vocalist Jim Shaw volley vocals back and forth with relentless intensity, each line taking a swing at a “broken nation” manipulated by misinformation and manufactured consent. The Summer Set — “ADIDAS”

Any artist who wants to tempt me with a cocktail of ’90s and early 2000s heartthrob references, millennial slang, and a Ross-and-Rachel Friends nod—while building it all around a chorus that unapologetically horny: “All day, I dream about sex with you,” has my full attention! The Summer Set’s new single, “ADIDAS,” is a tongue-in-cheek anthem that blurs nostalgia and desire into a pop-rock fever dream. You can hear it now on idobi Radio! —Paige Owens

antronsongs — “FOR YOU”

For fans of The Front Bottoms, Weezer, and Modern Baseball, you’re about to discover your new favorite artist: antronsongs. The cheeky track is rife with decadent riffs as it pokes fun at social media’s ridiculous trends, brand collaborations, and algorithms made just “For You.” For everyone who is overwhelmed by their daily scrolls, you’ll feel so seen. The artist sings, “This is what to read/This is how to sleep/This is when to breathe/This is what you’re scared of.” Not only is this a total bop, but it also helps a social media lover pull back and think about what they’re told to think about. Charmer — “Blue Jay”

We’re gearing up for Charmer’s third album, and we’ve never needed some good old-fashioned Midwest emo in our lives more than this moment. The Michigan rockers shared their new single, “Blue Jay,” this week, and it is much more than a song. “It’s about a specific day that completely shifted my life’s direction. If that day never happened, I’d be living a different reality,” vocalist David Daignault says. “I still don’t know if it was a good thing or not, but maybe I’ll figure it out in the next 60 years.” We love a life-changing song. —Maria Serra

Orthodox — “Sacred Place”

Unrivaled violence, riffs, and brutality, Orthodox‘s new album A Door Left Open is shaping up to be a heavy music AOTY. There’s no track that better exemplifies this than their new single “Sacred Place.” From gigantic breakdowns, hair-raising riffs, and vocalist Adam Easterling sounding demonic as fuck, this band is about to take over in a HUGE way. —Patrick Walford
