Mystic Set to Tour as Part of "Sisters for Hip-Hop & Soul'' Tour

GoodVibe Recordings & JCOR Entertainment today confirmed that Mystic will be part of the MTV2 and VIBE Magazine “Sisters For Hip-Hop & Soul” Tour. The tour will also feature India.Arie and other special guests and will be hosted by DJ Jazzy Joyce.

The club tour kicks off at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia on November 8th and will include dates in New York City, Washington, DC, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Detroit, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Diego, and Los Angeles.

Mystic will be touring in support of her critically acclaimed “Cuts For Luck and Scars For Freedom” which was released this past summer. Deemed by Entertainment Weekly as “one of the most distinctive hip-hop albums of the year…GRADE: A.” Her album blends hip-hop and soul like no other. Combine that with intense autobiographical verse, and you have the most riveting piece of music to come out this year. As she says, “The Cuts are about the hardships we endure growing up, and the Scars for Freedom are the forgiving but not forgetting.” Those after all are what make us who we are.

Fans can log on to MTV2.com and VIBE.com for additional tour dates and more information.
