The artwork for Michael Jackson’s much-anticipated Invincible album will feature a close-up black & white photo the singer’s left eye and raised eyebrow.
The album, due out October 30, will be Jackson’s first full studio release in eight years. The album’s first single “You Rock My World” shipped to radio stations on Friday (August 24), ahead of schedule. Sony Music and Epic Records moved the song’s delivery date forward after two radio stations in New York City “leaked” it early. If you haven’t yet heard the track, you can download a copy at michaeljackson.com.
In other Jackson news, the “King of Pop” will try to give the sluggish stock markets a pop when he rings the opening bell for the NASDAQ exchange on Thursday (August 30). The 9:30 a.m. ET ringing of the bell will take place at the NASDAQ broadcast center in Times Square, so that anyone walking outside the large window will be able to see Jackson open the trading day.
