Fans of Michael Jackson can participate in a contest sponsored by his official website that will give you a chance to meet the “King of Pop.” Unlike other online sweepstakes, however, the Michael Jackson Ultimate Fan Contest requires entrants to correctly answer 10 trivia questions based on various Jackson videos. Ten winners receive a flyaway trip to a Jackson event, with one lucky winner receiving face-to-face time with the singer himself.
To help you answer the contest questions correctly, Michaeljackson.com has placed the videos for “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough,” “Rock With You,” “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” “Thriller,” “Bad,” “The Way You Make Me Feel,” “Dirty Diana,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Black Or White,” “Remember The Time,” “Scream,” and the recently released “You Rock My World” online. The contest is just one of the many ways Sony Music is gearing up for the October 30 release of Invincible, Jackson’s highly anticipated album of all new material.
Gary L. Pudney, a film-and-television producer who has worked with Jackson in the past, is one of the select few who has heard the still-unreleased tracks on Invincible. Pudney tells LAUNCH of the album, which reportedly cost $30 million to produce. “I’ve heard just snippets and I have to tell you, it really cooks,” he says. “This is gonna be something, this album. He’s been working on this a long time, and he’s had a lot of brilliant people helping him. You know, people really want him to do well.”
