Following the release of their album Sweet, Mayday Parade kicked off their highly anticipated Three Cheers For 20 Years anniversary tour in April. On May 1, Mayday Parade hit a tour stop in Dallas, and this time, they brought out a special guest.

“Thank you for the love and support that has carried us through 20 years,” Derek Sanders said. “When we started in 2005, there were six members of this band. The five of us you see onstage and Jason Lancaster.”

They then invited up former Mayday Parade co-vocalist and Dallas resident Lancaster. He served in the band from 2005 to 2007 before fronting Go Radio.

Sanders continued, “So, we’re gonna go way back to the early days and play the third song we wrote. We don’t play this song very often.” Mayday Parade then played “One Man Drinking Games” followed up by “Jamie All Over” with the OG band member.

Mayday Parade is currently on their Three Cheers For 20 Years anniversary tour with MicrowaveGrayscale, and Like Roses. You can check out the band’s touring schedule below, including the stop at When We Were Young in October.
