Though Madonna fans may be disappointed to learn the singer has canceled matinee performances of the London theater production “Up for Grabs,” there is a silver lining. The reason she won’t be able to do daytime shows, her rep said, is that she’s spending her days in the studio, working on a follow-up to 2000’s Music.
No further information was provided, and there is no word on when the album will surface.
Madonna plays an art dealer in “Up for Grabs,” which opens May 23 at London’s Wyndham Theater and runs for 10 weeks.
