Limp Bizkit’s New York guitar search at the Long Island City Guitar Center on Monday (January 28) was an example of the early birds getting a shot at the worm. More than 600 people showed up to the store to audition for the vacant guitar spot in the band, but only the first 319 people got to strut their stuff. Of that 319, two were chosen to jam with Fred Durst and the rest of Limp Bizkit, said the Long Island City Guitar Center manager Mark Lahey.
Meanwhile, Limp Bizkit has rescheduled its postponed Northern California stop of the “Put Your Guitar Where Your Mouth Is” tour. Originally set to take place in San Francisco, it’s now set for February 10 in Sacramento.
