After teasing “ALIVE AGAIN” in January, Lights has officially released the single in its entirety, and it was so worth the wait. And that’s not all—the artist also announced her forthcoming record A6, arriving on May 2.
Of the new song, Lights explains, “‘ALIVE AGAIN’ is kind of a last hope anthem. It’s about the lows we hit and the demons we carry and from that vantage point sometimes we gain clarity about what we want, out of people or our lives. We all have demons, we might as well learn to party with them. Oh and try to catch all the horror references in the new music video.”

Lights’ forthcoming album A6 boasts 13 new songs, including the previously released single “DAMAGE.”
The artist shares, “A6 is exactly what it says it is: album six. In this landscape I realize it’s a flex to make it this far doing what you love – not just in this industry, but in life. I’ve given most of my years to the creation of something beautiful and affirming and transportive.”
She adds, “It’s my humble offering to the world. So if you’ve been with me for all six or just joining me now, I hope you find comfort, empowerment, solace, and escape in all that I have coming for you. It’s equal parts new and old lights, midwest emo, synthwave soundscapey and new wave born again. Get ready.”
