At long last, La Dispute have officially returned. The Michigan post-hardcore group launched not one, but three new singles: “I Shaved My Head,” “Man With Hands And Ankles Bound,” and “Autofiction Detail.” Plus, the group also shared that their fifth LP is on its way, entitled No One Was Driving The Car, set for release on September 5. Notably, the new record is inspired heavily by Paul Schrader’s psychological thriller First Reformed (2017).
This marks their first album since 2019’s Panorama.
Alongside the singles release, La Dispute also shared a music video for “I Shaved My Head,” directed by Steven Paseshnik and Adam Vass.
