La Dispute and Title Fight have announced a co-headlining tour set for this upcoming spring.
idobi photographer Gaëlle Pitrel caught La Dispute with O’Brother and Eugene Quell when the bands brought their European tour to La Flèche d’Or in Paris on May 13th.
idobi editor Eleanor Grace caught up with La Dispute frontman Jordan Dreyer at the Toronto stop of the band’s North American tour for an in-depth chat about everything that went into their new record Rooms of the House, how they challenged themselves creatively this time around, and what they’ve learned over the past almost ten years of being a band.
La Dispute are streaming their new album, “Rooms Of The House”, which is due out on March 18th via Better Living Records.
La Dispute have released a free tour sampler through Soundsupply. The drop features 2 songs from them, Mansions, and Pianos Become The Teeth. La Dispute have released a new music video for the song “For Mayor in Splitsville”. The video, directed by friends of the band, features a cohabitating couple, whose demise is the topic of the band’s upcoming concept album Rooms of the House.
La Dispute’s new album Rooms of the House will released on March 18th via Better Living/Staple Records. It’s available to pre-order over on iTunes and you can hear the track “Stay Happy There” below. If you’re more into owning physical copies, though, they have multiple different pre-order packages at their merch store, including a really cool 48 page book. La Dispute announced their third full length Rooms of the House, out March 14, and a full North American tour with Pianos Become the Teeth and Mansions. Paris Hilton hated her 2006 movie “Pledge This!” and refused for months to make promotional appearances for it despite a contract requiring her to do so, lawyers for the film’s investors said as trial opened Thursday in an $8 million lawsuit against her. “During the six-month period, at no time would she take 10 minutes to do a phone interview,” said attorney Bryan West, who represents the investors.
