Joey Fatone Hopes for Low-Key Father's Day

For the first time in a long time, singer Joey Fatone is going to enjoy some downtime with his daughter.

Fatone says that he is hoping for a low-key Father’s Day. He says that spending time doing nothing is great since he hasn’t been able to do that in a while. He says he was on tour with ‘N Sync when she was born so watching her grow is a nice change of pace.

But should she ever want to follow in her father’s footsteps and give show business a shot, Fatone says he may help her out, at least a little bit.

“If my kid had the talent, then I would help them,” he says. “I wouldn’t want to say, ‘Hey, I’m so and so and here’s my kid.’ I wouldn’t try to force it on them. I kind of struggled and I tried to do the best that I could and I want my daughter to so the same.”

Fatone also hosts “Fame” on NBC. He also recently appeared in “Rent” on Broadway and “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” last summer.
