Jessica Simpson is regarded as one of the hottest singers in pop music today, and she’s also the star of a new national advertising campaign for Bally Total Fitness. With her brand new look and attitude, Simpson has proven that she has matured greatly as an artist since the release of her 1999 debut album, Sweet Kisses.
The Texas native admitted to LAUNCH that she has a deep, dark Halloween secret that would make do-it-yourself queen Martha Stewart envious. “I was a table for Halloween once. A table. Me and my best friend Cooper were a table for Halloween. What we did is we got a cardboard box and we cut out half circles where our waists would go, and we flattened it out and we put a picnic table cover on it. We glued bowls and we glued cups and we glued forks, and we glued hot dogs on our plates and we walked around. We had a string around our neck that held it up, so we were just like a table.”
Simpson will be on the cover of the December issue of Maxim magazine, and she is scheduled to perform for the soldiers stationed in the Middle East as part of an upcoming USO tour.
