Jane’s Addiction has changed the name of its upcoming album, “Hypersonic,” to “Strays.”
The set will still be released on its previously announced date of July 22 by Capitol Records. First single “Just Because” is due to hit U.S. radio outlets June 3 for airplay consideration. “Strays,” produced by Bob Ezrin, is Jane’s Addiction’s first new studio album since 1990’s “Ritual de lo Habitual.”
The group will be performing several tracks from the album during its sets on Lollapalooza, which begins July 3 in Grand Rapids, Mich. A number of dates have been shuffled, with the tour now set to end Aug. 23 in Auburn, Wa.
