Horrorcore icons Ice Nine Kills have released their newest single, “A Work Of Art,” via Fearless Records. The song pays homage to the fan-favorite slasher franchise, Terrifier, and will be featured in Terrifier 3 which is playing in theaters nationwide now.
Frontman Spencer Charnas had this to say about the song: “The Terrifier franchise gave us Art the Clown, the greatest new horror icon in decades.”
He adds, “We are beyond honored by the invitation to play within the viciously delightful universe Damien Leone and his incredible team have created. The Art and INK fanbases are one and the same, and we heard the screams for this collaboration loud and clear.”
“Creating a track for Terrifier 3 is like stepping into the ultimate horror playground,” Charnas continues. “The film and our new single, ‘A Work of Art,’ reflect the same twisted, unrelenting energy that fans of both Ice Nine Kills and the Terrifier franchise thrive on.”
The official music video for “A Work Of Art” stars David Howard Thornton (Art the Clown), Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier), Leah Voysey (Terrifier 2), Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin and Vincent Rockwell, and System Of A Down’s Shavo Odadjian. In an exclusive double-feature of Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3, select theatres across the country saw the music video debut. The 14-minute, blood-soaked visual can be viewed here.
Terrifier 3 was written and directed by Damien Leone and is being distributed via Bloody Disgusting. You can catch Ice Nine Kills supporting The Amity Affliction this year, and they’ll be heading out with Metallica and Limp Bizkit next year.
