After revealing their comedy movie project in February 2025 with Live Nation Productions, Green Day has officially revealed the first teaser and film poster for New Years Rev. The film, inspired by Green Day’s early tour days in a van, was written and directed by Lee Kirk.
The project stars major names including Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, Ryan Foust, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, McKenna Grace, Keen Ruffalo, and Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, but it also features a cameo from none other than The Paradox. Who knows—maybe we’ll hear a snippet of their songs in the film, too. Check out the teaser video below.
Of the forthcoming film, Green Day says, “This film is our love letter to all of our favorite road trip movies, ‘90s nostalgia, and chasing it all no matter how ridiculous it gets.” While a theatrical or streaming date has yet to be announced, the movie will officially premiere at TIFF on September 12.
