Good Terms Share “Progress” Ahead Of Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser

Good Terms have released their new song, “Progress,” preceded by their 2025 cover of “Call Me” by Blondie and 2024 LP Burnout. Uniquely, the song is partly inspired by frontman Brian McShea and his fiancée Stephanie Raynor, who, unfortunately, lost their home in the devastating California wildfires earlier this year—but they did find their engagement ring! A recent press release notes that “the outpouring of love and support reminded the couple and their extended Good Terms family of the importance of community.”

Of “Progress,” the band shared on social media, “Sometimes I feel so close to the edge of failure man, like there’s reminders of how little I’ve done stacked up all around me. It’s a lot of work to find the evidence that like, ‘Hey man, I’ve actually come pretty far, and I’m gonna keep going.’ We’ve always pushed ourselves to try new things when writing, and this one’s no different – and we were laughing out loud and the things we ended up doing. Sing this with us on tour y’all!”

Additionally, the group is hosting a benefit on Saturday, May 24, in partnership with Musora. For LA residents, you can head out on the Good Terms “Progress” Walk-A-Thon Hike. The walk is set to raise money for music education and mentorship in underserved communities via Notes For Notes. RSVP here.

Coming up this summer, you can catch Good Terms on the road with the likes of Youth Fountain and Emery. Check out their full run below and grab tickets here.
